Tatlong lalaki ang inaresto ng mga tauhan ng Congressional Police Sub-Station 9 (SS9) Caloocan City Police Station matapos maaktuhang naglalaro ng cara y cruz at mahulihan ng hinihinalang ilegal na droga sa isinagawang foot patrol madaling araw ng Biyernes, Enero 30, 2026, bandang alas-2:00 ng umaga sa Villa Luisa, Barangay 171, Caloocan City.


Ayon sa ulat, nagsasagawa ng regular na foot patrol ang mga PNP personnel ng SS9 CCPS sa pangunguna ni PCPT Ryan Joshua Sangalang, Hepe ng Sub-Station 9, sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni PCOL Paul Joey T. Goforth, Officer-in-Charge ng CCPS, nang mapansin nila ang tatlong lalaki na naglalaro ng cara y cruz sa nasabing lugar.


Nilapitan ng mga pulis ang mga suspek upang kausapin at hingin ang kanilang mga pagkakakilanlan. Sa isinagawang bodily search, nakuhanan ang isa sa mga suspek na kinilalang si alyas “John Louie” ng isang maliit na heat-sealed plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu, dahilan upang agad silang arestuhin.


Ang mga suspek ay kinilala bilang sina alyas “John Louie,” alyas “John Enrique,” at alyas “Glenn.”


Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang tatlong piraso ng one-peso coin na ginagamit bilang pangara, bet money na nagkakahalaga ng humigit-kumulang ₱1,200.00 sa iba’t ibang denominasyon, at isang piraso ng maliit na heat-sealed plastic sachet na naglalaman ng puting butil na hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 0.6 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng ₱4,080.00.


Agad namang binasahan ng kanilang mga karapatan ang mga suspek. Sila ay nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Presidential Decree No. 1602 (Illegal Gambling – Cara y Cruz) at Section 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.


Samantala, nanahimik muna ang mga suspek at itinanggi ang alegasyong sila ay nagbebenta ng ilegal na droga.


Sa kasalukuyan, ang tatlong suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng Congressional Police Sub-Station 9 CCPS para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at kaukulang proseso ng batas.
