Laguna Launches First-Ever Pilgrimage Tourism Program Under Sol Aragones

The Provincial Government of Laguna, under the leadership of Governor Sol Aragones, officially announced on February 12, 2026 the launch of its first batch of Pilgrimage Tourism, set to begin on March 1, 2026.

The faith-based initiative aims to promote spiritual travel while showcasing Laguna’s rich religious heritage as part of the province’s broader tourism development efforts.

Governor Aragones emphasized that the program is designed to make the pilgrimage experience both meaningful and accessible to participants. “Pati pagkain kasama rin, magkakaiba na lang sa depende sa package na gusto nyo,” she shared, noting that meals are already included depending on the chosen package.

Seven Historic Churches Featured
The pilgrimage tour will bring travelers on a sacred journey to seven historic churches across Laguna, including:

Immaculate Conception Parish
San Antonio de Padua Parish Church
Our Lady of Guadalupe Church
San Sebastian Parish Church
San Juan Bautista Parish Church
Parish of Santiago Apostol
Diocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores de Turumba

Each stop offers pilgrims the opportunity to reflect, pray, and immerse themselves in the unique traditions and spiritual practices of the local communities.

Two Pilgrimage Packages Available
Participants may choose from two available packages:

Package 1 – ₱2,700 per person
Package 2 – ₱3,999 per person

Both packages include roundtrip transportation to all seven churches, a Department of Transportation (DOT) accredited tour guide, coordination with priests and local government units, travel insurance, a pilgrimage tour kit, light snack or meal, one bottled water per participant, all entrance and parking fees, and a pilgrimage passport with souvenirs such as postcards and magnets.
