High-Value Drug Personality Arrested; Clandestine Drug Laboratory Dismantled

A high-value drug personality was arrested and a clandestine laboratory was discovered and dismantled during a successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted by joint operatives of the PDEA Cavite Provincial Office, PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region-Northern District Office, and Valenzuela City Police Station on February 22, 2026 in Barangay Viente Reales, Valenzuela City.

At approximately 4:15 in the morning, a buy bust operation was initiated, resulting in the arrest of John, 30, single, resident of Cubao, Quezon City, who is listed as high-value drug personality

Authorities recovered more or less 500 grams of suspected shabu worth Php1,500,000.00 and buy-bust money and eventually discovered a clandestine drug laboratory believed to be used in the manufacture of illegal drugs.

Authorities are conducting further investigation to determine the extent of the operation and identity of other individuals involved in the illegal drug network.

The suspect is now under the custody of the arresting unit and will face charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) Section 8 (Manufacture of dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
