CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — A moment of pride and heartfelt reflection marked the appearance of 12-year-old Alliyah Rizal at the DLSU Gala Night 2026, where she impressed attendees with her poise, grace, voice and youthful elegance.
Alliyah, the granddaughter of Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal, turned heads in a stunning formal gown, embodying both sophistication and innocence fitting her age. Her presence at the prestigious event highlighted not only her charm but also the strong family support behind her.
In an emotional message, Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal shared his sentiments on seeing his granddaughter grow:
“Minsan hindi mo namamalayan ang paglipas ng panahon. Ang aking apo ay isa nang ganap na dalaga—parang kailan lang ay karga-karga ko pa siya. Nakakatuwa, nakaka-proud, at medyo nakaka-miss din ang mga panahong sila’y maliliit pa.”
Meanwhile, her mother, Aileen Rizal, expressed her pride and admiration for her daughter’s journey, saying:
“Watching you grow with grace has been life’s greatest privilege.”
Despite her young age, Alliyah carried herself with confidence and elegance, reflecting the values instilled in her by her family. Her appearance at the gala became a touching reminder of how quickly time passes, especially for parents and grandparents witnessing a child’s transformation.
The DLSU Gala Night 2026 served not only as a celebration of style and youth but also as a meaningful occasion for family pride and shared milestones, with Alliyah Rizal standing as a symbol of the next generation’s promise.
