QUEZON — Patay ang dalawang lineman matapos araruhin ng truck na nawalan umano ng preno ang tatlong sasakyan sa diversion road o New Zigzag Road sa bayan ng Atimonan.
Ayon sa pulisya, dakong 2:40 hapon nang mawalan ng kontrol ang wing van truck sa pababang bahagi ng kalsada sa Brgy. Sta. Catalina.
Unang binangga ang motorsiklo na may sidecar na sinasakyan ng mga biktima, bago nadamay ang isa pang motorsiklo at sumalpok sa likuran ng truck na may kargang heavy equipment.
Dead on the spot ang dalawang biktima dahil sa lakas ng pagkakabangga, habang sugatan naman ang driver ng truck na agad isinugod sa ospital.
Nagdulot ng matinding trapiko ang insidente at pansamantalang isinara ang kalsada para sa clearing operations.
Nahaharap na sa kaso ang driver ng truck habang patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng mga awtoridad.
