CALOOCAN CITY – Dalawang lalaki ang naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Camarin Police Station Sub-Station 10 (SS10) matapos mahuli umano sa aktong nagsusugal at makumpiskahan pa ng hinihinalang shabu sa isinagawang foot patrol operation noong Sabado ng hapon, Mayo 30, 2026.


Ayon sa ulat ng Camarin Police Station, nagsasagawa ng foot patrol ang mga operatiba sa pangunguna ni PCapt. Renato M. Florentino bilang bahagi ng Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation nang mamataan nila ang dalawang suspek na umano’y sangkot sa ilegal na pagsusugal na kilala bilang “Cara y Cruz” sa kahabaan ng Malipaka Street, Maligaya Park, Barangay 177, Caloocan City, bandang alas-4:30 ng hapon.


Kinilala ang mga naaresto na sina Jomar Neri y Bondoc at Diosdado Hipolito y Horca.
Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang dalawang pirasong P50 bill, apat na pirasong P100 bill, at tatlong tig-P1 barya na ginagamit bilang “flippers” o pangara sa naturang sugal.


Sa isinagawang incidental search kasunod ng legal na pag-aresto, narekober umano mula kay Neri ang isang maliit na heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng puting kristalinong substansiya na pinaniniwalaang shabu. Tinatayang may bigat itong 0.2 gramo at may Standard Drug Price (SDP) na P1,360.


Agad na binasahan ng kanilang mga karapatan ang mga suspek at dinala sa himpilan ng pulisya para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at imbestigasyon.


Nahaharap sina Neri at Hipolito sa kasong paglabag sa Presidential Decree 1602 o Anti-Illegal Gambling Law dahil sa ilegal na pagsusugal. Samantala, si Neri ay nahaharap din sa karagdagang kasong paglabag sa Section 11, Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 dahil sa umano’y pag-iingat ng ilegal na droga.
Itinanggi naman ng mga suspek ang anumang kaugnayan sa pagbebenta ng ilegal na droga.


Sa kasalukuyan, nasa kustodiya ng Camarin Police Station SS10 ang mga naaresto habang isinasailalim sa karagdagang proseso at turn-over sa Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU).
