Dalawang hinihinalang tulak ng ilegal na droga, kabilang ang isang matagal nang minamanmanang high-value target (HVT), ang naaresto sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng magkasanib na puwersa ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Caloocan City.

Bandang alas-1:30 ng hapon noong Mayo 29, 2026 nang isagawa ng mga operatiba ng PDEA Regional Office 4A Regional Special Enforcement Team 2 (RSET 2), katuwang ang PDEA RO4A RSET 1, PDEA National Capital Region Regional Special Enforcement Team 2 (NCR RSET 2), at PNP Special Drug Enforcement Unit, ang operasyon sa harap ng isang convenience store sa Barangay 188, Caloocan City.

Naaresto sa operasyon ang mga suspek na kinilalang sina alyas “Madin,” 47 taong gulang, at alyas “Saipo,” 27, na kapwa itinuturing na high-value targets sa kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang mahigit 500 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang standard drug price na P3.4 milyon.

Narekober din ng mga awtoridad ang boodle money na ginamit sa operasyon, isang motorsiklo, at susi nito bilang karagdagang ebidensya.
Mahaharap ang dalawang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 kaugnay ng Section 26(b) o Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165, na kilala bilang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Patuloy namang pinaiigting ng PDEA at PNP ang kanilang kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at kaayusan sa mga komunidad.
