DRUG DEN DISMANTLED IN BATANGAS CITY; FOUR DRUG SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Batangas Provincial Office, Batangas City Police Station, and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Maritime Group arrested four drug personalities and dismantled a drug den during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 23, Batangas City, Batangas.

At around 4:10 in the afternoon on June 1, 2026, the suspects, identified in their aliases “Budo,” 49; “Karla,” 32; “Harold,” 43; and “Erwin,” 54, all residents of Batangas City, were apprehended after selling illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer.

Seized during the operation were more or less five grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php34,000.00, marked buy-bust money, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will be charged for violations of Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PDEA Region 4A continues to intensify its anti-drug operations in coordination with law enforcement agencies to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs and ensure safer communities. (PDEA)
