QUEZON — Isa na namang panibagong iligal na droga ang natagpuan at nakuha sa baybaying dagat ng isla ng Patnanungan sa nabanggit na lalawigan matapos anurin ang panibagong pakete ng hinihinalang cocaine na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit 5.8 million pesos.

Kusang-loob na isinuko ng 39- na taong gulang na mangingisdang si Alias Dennis ang higit isang kilo ng puting crystalline substance sa mga awtoridad.

Base sa report nangunguha lamang ng alimango si Dennis sa dalampasigan ng Sitio Katmon, Barangay Busdak nitong Lunes ng umaga nang mapansin ang pakete na nasa tabing dagat.

Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na nagpamalas ng katapatan ang mga residenteng mangingisda sa isla.

Ito na ang ikatlong beses ngayong taon na may napadpad na droga sa iisang barangay.

Matatandaang noong Abril at Mayo, milyun-milyong piso halaga ng cocaine ang isinuko ng iba pang mangingisda.

Dahil sa lawak ng baybayin ng Quezon na umaabot sa mahigit isang libong kilometro, madalas itong maging bulnerable sa smuggling.

Ayon kay Quezon Provincial Director,PCOL Romulo Albacea, posibleng nagmula pa sa ibang bansa ang mga iligal na droga na ito.
