Mayor Ross Rizal Inspects Key Community Projects in Calamba, Boosting Water Access, Child Care, and Road Connectivity

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal personally inspected several vital community development projects in Barangay Palo Alto, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to improving basic services and infrastructure for Calamba residents.

Among the projects inspected was the irrigation and water supply initiative featuring two 5,000-gallon water tank systems installed in Purok 4 and Purok 5. These facilities are designed to provide a more reliable and continuous water supply, directly benefiting households and supporting daily community needs.

The mayor also visited the Barangay Palo Alto Daycare Center, which aims to offer a safer, more organized, and child-friendly learning environment. The upgraded facility is expected to enhance early childhood development while giving parents greater peace of mind as they work and contribute to the local economy.
In addition, Mayor Rizal inspected the nearly completed Palo Alto–Bubuyan Bypass Road, a key infrastructure project expected to ease traffic flow, shorten travel time, and strengthen connectivity between Barangay Palo Alto and Barangay Bubuyan. Once completed, the road is seen as a catalyst for economic activity, improved mobility, and better access to services for nearby communities.

During the inspection, Mayor Rizal emphasized the importance of ensuring that government projects deliver real and lasting benefits to the people.

“Patuloy tayong naglilingkod at tumitiyak na ang bawat proyekto ay tunay na napapakinabangan ng ating mga kababayan.” Mayor Rizal said.

The series of inspections underscores the city administration’s focus on sustainable development, efficient public spending, and infrastructure projects that not only improve quality of life but also help generate opportunities and long-term growth for Calamba City.
