QUEZON—Mas pinaigting ng Quezon Police Provincial Office sa pamumuno ni Provincial Director PCOL Romulo Qlbacea ang adbokasiya sa gender equality kasabay ng pagbubukas ng National Women’s Month Celebration sa Camp BGen Guillermo P. Nakar sa Lucena City.
Layunin ng programa na kilalanin at palakasin ang papel ng kababaihan sa serbisyo publiko,higit lalo na sa hanay ng pulisya.
Sa mensahe ng panauhing tagapagsalita na si Dr. Henedina Albacea Lagumen, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology of Manuel S. Enverga University, binigyang-diin nito ang ambag ng kababaihan sa paghubog ng mas inklusibo at maunlad na komunidad.
Ayon kay PCOL Albacea, patuloy ang suporta ng Quezon Pulis sa mga programang nagtataguyod ng women empowerment.
Isinagawa rin ang mass singing ng pambansang awit at pagkilala sa mga kawani na nagpakita ng natatanging serbisyo.
Ang aktibidad ay bahagi ng nationwide celebration na may temang “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.”
