QUEZON — Nilinaw ng Quezon Police Provincial Office ang viral na insidente kung saan limang pulis ang umano’y bigla na lamang pumasok sa isang bahay sa Barangay Cotta,Lucena City upang hulihin ang isang suspek sa kasong panghahalay.
Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni Police Colonel Romulo Albacea, Provincial Director ng Quezon PNP, na hindi puwersahan ang ginawang pagpasok ng mga pulis at may pahintulot umano ito ng residente, kasama ang isang barangay kagawad.
Ayon kay Albacea, rumesponde ang mga pulis matapos ituro ng kanilang asset ang kinaroroonan ng suspek.
Pagdating sa lugar, may isang lalaking tumakbo kaya ito’y hinabol ng mga pulis at nauwi sa pagpasok sa naturang bahay upang beripikahin kung doon nagtungo ang hinahanap.
Aminado rin ang Quezon PNP Chief na may pagkukulang ang kanilang mga tauhan, kabilang ang hindi agad pag-verify sa issuing court kung aktibo pa ang warrant of arrest na kanilang isinerve na
lumabas kalaunan na paso na pala ang warrant.
Dagdag pa ni Albacea, bagamat may isang pulis na nakabunot ng baril, subalit hindi naman umano ito itinutok at ginawa lamang bilang precaution para sa kanilang seguridad.
Sa kabila nito, tiniyak niyang walang makikitang pang-aabuso sa video na kumalat online.
Dahil sa insidente, agad na ni-relieve sa pwesto ang limang pulis, dinisarmahan, at kasalukuyang nasa restricted custody habang isinasagawa ang patas na imbestigasyon na nahaharap din ang mga ito sa kasong administratibo.
Humingi na rin ng paumanhin ang Quezon PNP sa pamilya ng mga nagreklamo at tiniyak na papanagutin ang sinumang mapapatunayang lumabag sa police operational procedures.
Una ng sinabi ng pamilya ng nagrereklamo na walang paunang pahintulot ang mga pulis at nagdulot umano ng takot ang kanilang pagpasok, lalo na’t hindi naka-uniporme at walang ipinakitang pisikal na warrant.
Sa ngayon, patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng Quezon PNP upang matukoy ang buong katotohanan at matiyak ang pananagutan sa insidente.
