QUEZON — Binulabog ng bomb threat ang Quezon National High School ang pinakamalaking pampublikong paaralan sa lungsod ng Lucena matapos makatanggap ng mensahe sa social media ang pamunuan ng paaralan nitong Marso 5 Huwebes ng umaga.
Ayon sa Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), dakong alas 6:11 ng umaga nang matanggap ng isa sa mga Admin ng Official ng Facebook Page ng Quezon National High School ang mensahe mula sa isang FB Account na gumagamit ng pangalang “Kim Tan” sa pamamagitan ng Facebook Messenger.
Agad itong inireport sa Lucena Component City Police Station, dahilan upang mabilis na rumesponde ang mga awtoridad para tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga estudyante, guro at kawani ng nasabing paaralan.
Bilang bahagi ng standard safety protocol, pansamantalang pinalikas ang mga tao sa loob ng paaralan at pinauwi ang mga estudyante habang isinasagawa ang masusing paggagalugad at paiinspeksyon sa lugar.
Rumesponde rin ang PNP Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU) na nagsagawa ng K9 inspection at paneling upang matiyak kung may anumang kahina-hinalang bagay o pampasabog sa loob ng paaralan.
Kasabay nito, agad ding kumilos ang Quezon Cyber Response Team upang matukoy at ma-validate ang Facebook Account na ginamit sa pagpapadala ng bomb threat.
Matapos ang masusing pagsusuri ng mga awtoridad, walang natagpuang bomba sa loob ng paaralan at idineklarang ligtas ang lugar.
Sa pahayag ni Quezon Police Provincial Director PCOL Romulo Albacea, tiniyak nito sa publiko na nananatiling nakaantabay ang kapulisan upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng komunidad.
Ayon kay Albacea, ginagawa ng Quezon Police Provincial Office ang lahat ng kinakailangang hakbang upang masiguro ang seguridad ng publiko, lalo na ng mga mag-aaral at guro.
Patuloy naman ang imbestigasyon at cyber validation upang matukoy kung sino ang nasa likod ng naturang mensahe.
Pinaalalahanan din ng pulisya ang publiko na iwasan ang pagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon o pananakot, dahil may kaakibat itong pananagutan sa ilalim ng batas.
