Caloocan — Patuloy na pinagtitibay ng Northern Police District (NPD) ang kampanya nito para sa propesyonalismo, disiplina, at integridad sa hanay ng kapulisan matapos pangunahan ni NPD Acting District Director PBGEN Benliner L. Capili ang isang “Talk to Men” session at surprise drug testing para sa mga tauhan ng District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) at District Special Operations Unit (DSOU).


Ang aktibidad ay bahagi ng pagpapatupad ng Six-Point Agenda ni PBGEN Capili, partikular ang ikalimang agenda na nakatuon sa Integrity Monitoring and Enhancement o Internal Cleansing Program. Layunin nitong tiyakin na ang bawat miyembro ng distrito ay nananatiling disiplinado, responsable, at walang kaugnayan sa ilegal na droga habang ginagampanan ang kanilang tungkulin sa serbisyo publiko.
Sa isinagawang “Talk to Men” session, binigyang-diin ni PBGEN Capili ang kahalagahan ng integridad, propesyonalismo, at mahigpit na pagsunod sa etikal na pamantayan ng Philippine National Police. Hinikayat din niya ang mga tauhan na panatilihin ang kaayusan at kalinisan sa kanilang mga tanggapan, kabilang ang wastong pagsunod sa protocol at paggalang sa ranggo.


Pinaalalahanan din ng opisyal ang mga pulis na iwasan ang anumang uri ng ilegal na aktibidad at magsilbing mabuting halimbawa sa komunidad upang mapanatili ang tiwala at kredibilidad ng publiko sa hanay ng kapulisan.


Matapos ang pagpupulong, agad na isinagawa ang sorpresang drug test sa mga miyembro ng DDEU at DSOU bilang bahagi ng pinaigting na internal cleansing efforts at pagpapatupad ng zero-tolerance policy laban sa ilegal na droga.


Nanindigan naman ang Northern Police District sa kanilang pangako na ipagpatuloy ang tapat, disiplinado, at makataong pagpupulis alinsunod sa direktiba ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police.
