CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA  — A total of 557 beneficiaries from the lowland barangays of Calamba City received livelihood assistance through the city government’s Kabuhayan ni Rizal program, reinforcing the administration’s efforts to expand economic opportunities and support residents in improving their quality of life.

The initiative aims to provide additional sources of income and livelihood opportunities to qualified Calambeños, particularly those seeking financial support to establish or strengthen their means of earning.

Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal emphasized the importance of bringing livelihood opportunities closer to residents and ensuring that more families can benefit from programs designed to improve their economic well-being.

“Patuloy ang ating pagsisikap na mailapit ang mga oportunidad sa kabuhayan sa bawat Calambeño. Ngayong araw, 557 benepisyaryo mula sa mga low-land barangays ang nakatanggap ng tulong mula sa ating programang Kabuhayan ni Rizal.”

“Sa pamamagitan nito, hangad nating mabigyan ng dagdag na pagkakakitaan at oportunidad ang ating mga kababayan upang mas mapabuti ang kanilang pamumuhay.”

The mayor also encouraged interested residents to apply for the program by visiting the Mayor’s Office at Calamba City Hall to inquire about the application process.

“Sa mga may nais mag apply sa Kabuhayan Ni Rizal, maaari po kayong magpunta sa Mayor’s Office sa City Hall at mag inquire po.”

Through Kabuhayan ni Rizal, the city government continues to promote livelihood development and provide Calambeños with opportunities to achieve more sustainable sources of income.
