Base sa report ni LTCOL Jun Villarosa hepe ng pulisya, pinara at pinatigil ng kanyang mga pulis ang isang itim na motorsiklo na minamaneho ng suspek dahilan sa wala itong suot na helmet habang nagmamaneho.
Sa isinagawang inspeksyon, napansin at nakita ni PSSg Bryan Castro ang nakasukbit na baril sa baywang ng suspek.
Agad itong inaresto matapos mabigong magpakita ng kaukulang dokumento para sa naturang baril, at napag-alamang nasa impluwensya rin ng alak ang suspek.
Nakumpiska mula sa 38 anyos na suspek na isang negosyante ng kopra/niyog at residente ng Brgy. Sto. Niรฑo sa nabanggit na bayan ang isang Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 FS-TACT kalibre .45 na kargado ng walong bala, at nakuha din sa posesyon nito dalawang bala ng kalibre .38.
Ipinaalam sa suspek ang kanyang mga karapatan at dinala sa Lopez Municipal Police Station para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at pagsasampa ng kaso sa ilalim ng paglabag sa R.A. 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act ang suspek ay kasalukuyang nakakulong.
Patuloy ang paalala ng Lopez PNP sa publiko na sumunod sa batas at iwasan ang pagdadala ng ilegal na armas upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa komunidad.
