Calamba City, Laguna — The City Government of Calamba has officially resumed the distribution of the Calamba City Social Pension for Senior Citizens, a program spearheaded by Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal to provide additional support for the elderly sector.
“The long wait is over. We have started once again the distribution of the Calamba City Social Pension for our beloved Senior Citizens,” Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal announced.
The first batch of beneficiaries included residents from Barangay 7, Banlic, Bañadero, and Hornalan. Other barangays are set to receive their schedule in the coming days as the program continues to roll out across the city.
Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal also expressed gratitude to the taxpayers of Calamba, emphasizing that their contributions make such programs possible.
“Thank you to our taxpayers—you are the true reason why we can continue programs like this for our senior citizens,” he said.
The social pension program reaffirms the city’s commitment to recognizing the invaluable role of senior citizens and ensuring their well-being through sustained government support.
