QUEZON — Arestado ng mga operatiba ng Quezon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) matapos ang isinagawang drug buy-bust operation sa Brgy. Marketview, lungsod ng Lucena madaling araw ng Mayo 20, 2026.

Kinilala ang suspek sa alyas na “Isidro,” 51 taong gulang at residente ng naturang barangay.

Base sa report, nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang isang knot-tied transparent plastic bag at siyam na heat-sealed plastic sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na humigit-kumulang 140 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P952,000.00 base sa PDEA Standard Drug Price at street value na 2,856,000.00.million pesos.

Kaugnay nito, sinabi ni Quezon PNP Provincial Director PCOL ROMULO A ALBACEA na patuloy ang maigting nilang kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga sa buong lalawigan.

Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Lucena PNP at nakakulong sa costudial facility ang suspek at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at Section 11 ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
