CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — Young learners in Barangay Lamesa now have improved and safer spaces for early childhood education following the inauguration of two newly renovated daycare centers led by Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal.

The newly improved facilities, the Nayon Daycare Center and Villa de Calamba Daycare Center, were formally blessed and inaugurated as part of the city government’s continuing efforts to provide a more conducive learning environment for children.

Mayor Ross Rizal emphasized the importance of creating safe and comfortable spaces that will help shape the future of Calamba’s youngest residents.

“Ngayong araw, ating pinasinayaan at binasbasan ang dalawang bagong inayos na Daycare Center—ang Nayon Daycare Center at Villa de Calamba Daycare Center—upang masiguro ang mas maayos, komportable, at angkop na lugar para sa pagkatuto at paghubog ng ating mga kabataan.”

In addition to the facility upgrades, daycare students in Barangay Lamesa also received free school bags, uniforms, umbrellas, and other school supplies in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Mayor Rizal said the initiative reflects the city government’s commitment to supporting children and helping families prepare for education.

“Kasabay nito ang pamamahagi ng libreng school bags, uniporme, payong, at iba pang school supplies sa lahat ng daycare students ng Brgy. Lamesa bilang paghahanda sa kanilang pagpasok sa paaralan.”

The mayor further stressed that investing in children means investing in the city’s future, adding that educational development begins with proper learning conditions.

“Patuloy nating inuuna ang kapakanan ng ating mga bata dahil naniniwala tayong ang dekalidad na edukasyon ay nagsisimula sa maayos at ligtas na kapaligiran. Tuloy-tuloy ang ating mga programa at proyektong magbibigay ng mas magandang kinabukasan para sa bawat batang Calambeño.”

The project forms part of the city administration’s ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening educational support systems and creating a better future for every young Calambeño.
