Arestado ang isang (1) suspek sa ikinasang drug buy-bust operation ng pulis Sta. Cruz, kung saan ay nasabat ang 112K halaga ng shabu kahapon, Setyembre 18, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO ang suspek na si Alyas Rafael na residente ng Pasig City, Manila.
Ayon sa ulat ni PMAJ LAURENCE C ABOAC, Hepe ng Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, ikinasa ng kanilang mga operatiba ang drug buy-bust operation kahapon, Setyembre 18, 2023, sa ganap na 5:50 ng hapon, sa Sitio Huwaran, Brgy. Pagsawitan, Sta. Cruz, Laguna na nagresulta sa pagkaaresto ng suspek matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang iligal na droga sa pulis na nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer kapalit ang buy-bust money.
Sa isinagawang preventive search, nakumpiska sa suspek ang limang (5) pirasong plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang iligal na droga na may timbang na aabot sa 16.60 gramo na may tinatayang halaga na PhP112,800.00, isang (1) pirasong five hundred peso bill (PhP500.00 Php), dalawang (2) pirasong one hundred peso bill (PhP100.00) na recovered money, isang (1) pirasong coin purse, at isang (1) unit ng cellular phone. Narekober din sa suspek ang dalawang (2) pirasong one thousand peso bill (PhP1,000.00) na buy-bust money.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Sta. Cruz MPS ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.”Samantala, ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isusumiti sa Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) para sa forensic examination.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL DEPOSITAR, “Ang suspek na ito ay nagmula pa sa Manila at dumayo pa dito sa Laguna para magkalat ng iligal na droga. Ngunit hindi papayagan ng Laguna PNP ang kanilang mga iligal na transaksyon, dahil walang puwang dito sa Laguna ang mga ganitong uri ng tao. Tinitiyak namin sa ating mga kababayan na mananagot sa batas ang suspek na ito. Hindi namin papayagan na sirain ng mga drug personalities ang buhay ng bawat pamilya lalo na ang buhay ng mga kabataan dito sa Probinsya ng Laguna.” #gtgilao
