QUEZON — Nasawi ang isang 67-anyos na lola matapos masalpok ng tren ang sinasakyan niyang motorized trolley sa may bahagi ng Barangay Pinagbayanan, Pagbilao, Quezon.
Ayon sa Pagbilao Municipal Police Station, sakay ang biktima kasama ang 70-anyos na operator ng trolley nang masalubong nila ang PNR train na bumibyahe galing ng Tagkawayan Quezon patungo ng Lucena City.
Nangyari ang insidente sa isang kurbadang bahagi ng riles na makapal ang mga halaman, kaya limitado umano ang visibility ng operator at hindi agad nakaiwas sa paparating na tren ang trolley.
Pumailalim sa tren ang biktima at nagtamo ng mga pinsala sa ulo at katawan.
Agad itong isinugod ng PNR personnel at MRDRMO Pagbilao sa Quezon Medical Center subalit binawian na ito ng buhay at idineklarang dead on arrival na ito.
Nangako naman ang PNR ng financial at humanitarian assistance sa pamilya ng nasawi.
