SAN PEDRO CITY, Laguna – The Social Security System (SSS) has intensified its information campaign in the city through collaboration with the City Public Affairs and Information Office (CPAIO) of San Pedro City.
The CPAIO of San Pedro City led by Mr. Jhe-Rico Sam S. Colina and Officer-in-Charge and Information Assistant Ms. Richelle R. Balmas granted SSS a free promotion of its programs and projects in all LED TV monitors which are strategically located in the city proper. The CPAIO of San Pedro City was the first Local Government Unit under Luzon South 1 Division that supports SSS advertisements through LED TV Monitors.
The advertisement will run daily along with the city’s own programs and announcements. This will provide an avenue for SSS to showcase its programs and updates and encourage them to continue their contributions and enjoy the benefits.
SSS San Pedro Branch Head Rey A. Untiveros said that collaboration with government entities are essential in attaining each other’s mandates.
“This partnership will benefit the public, particularly our current and future members. The free use of the City LED TV monitors is an effective tool to promote the various programs and learning delivery modality of the SSS. I would like to thank the city government for their constant support to the SSS,” said Untiveros.
The SSS members may now enjoy the interactive components of the video clip materials on SSS benefits, ongoing projects such as KaSSSangga Collect, E-Center sa Brgy, SSS eWheels, among others.
Recently, SSS San Pedro simultaneously signed Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) with 27 barangays under LGU San Pedro to ensure the social security coverage and protection of the latter’s barangay workers under the KaSSSangga Collect Program. The first SSS Digital branch is located at the 2nd Floor of Robinsons Galleria Southmall to cater the needs of its 74,000 members.
