9 Wanted Persons Timbog sa Malawakang Manhunt Operation ng NPD

Siyam (9) na mga indibidwal na may kinahaharap na kaso, kabilang ang tatlong (3) Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWPs), ang matagumpay na naaresto sa isinagawang “Warrant Day” operation ng Northern Police District (NPD) katuwang ang mga himpilan ng pulisya sa iba’t ibang lugar.

Kabilang sa mga nahuli ang mga sangkot sa mga kasong pagpatay (murder), paglabag sa batas laban sa ilegal na droga, panggagahasa, at acts of lasciviousness.

Sa Valenzuela City, isang 44-anyos na lalaki na walang trabaho at residente ng Brgy. Lodlod, Lipa City, Batangas, ang naaresto ng Warrant and Subpoena Section ng Valenzuela City Police Station katuwang ang Women and Children Protection Desk. Ang suspek ay nakalista bilang No. 6 Top Most Wanted Person sa antas ng distrito at Top No. 4 Most Wanted Person sa antas ng istasyon. Siya ay inaresto dahil sa kasong panggagahasa sa ilalim ng Article 266-A ng Revised Penal Code. Ang warrant of arrest ay inilabas ng Regional Trial Court Branch 171 ng Valenzuela City at walang inirekomendang piyansa.

Sa Malabon City naman, isang 25-anyos na vendor mula sa Brgy. Muzon ang nadakip ng mga operatiba ng Warrant and Subpoena Section ng Malabon City Police Station. Ang suspek, na nakalista bilang No. 8 Top Most Wanted Person sa antas ng istasyon, ay nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 12, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ang warrant ay inilabas ng Regional Trial Court Branch 169 ng Malabon City para sa serbisyo ng sentensiya.

Sa Caloocan City, inaresto rin ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng Warrant and Subpoena Section at Women and Children Protection Desk ang isang 29-anyos na lalaking walang trabaho mula sa Brgy. 175. Ang suspek, na kabilang sa Top No. 6 Most Wanted Person sa antas ng istasyon, ay nahaharap sa kasong Acts of Lasciviousness sa ilalim ng Article 336 ng Revised Penal Code kaugnay ng Section 5(B) ng Republic Act No. 7610 o Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

Samantala, sa Navotas City, isang 28-anyos na pedicab driver mula sa NBBS Proper ang nadakip ng Patrol Base 3 ng Navotas City Police Station dahil sa kasong murder. Siya ay naaresto sa Brgy. NBBN sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court Branch 286 ng Navotas City na walang inirekomendang piyansa.

Ayon sa Northern Police District, bahagi ng kanilang pinaigting na kampanya ang mas malawak na police visibility, mabilis na pagtugon sa krimen, at tuloy-tuloy na operasyon laban sa kriminalidad bilang bahagi ng layunin nitong mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa mga komunidad.

Patuloy ding pinatitibay ng NPD ang kanilang pangako sa pagbibigay ng mabilis, mahusay, at maaasahang serbisyo ng pulisya para sa kaligtasan at seguridad ng publiko.
