QUEZON — Arestado ang isang 57-anyos na lalaki matapos makumpiskahan ng mga baril, bala at hinihinalang shabu sa isinagawang search warrant operation ng Guinayangan Municipal Police Station sa may Barangay Ligpit Bantayan, bayan ng Guinayangan.

Narekober sa operasyon ang isang improvised caliber .22 rifle, dalawang revolver, mga bala, at 19 na sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na tumitimbang ng 1.5 grams na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit 10,000.00 pesos.

Kasalukuyang nasa kostudiya ng pulisya ang suspek at nakakulong na nahaharap sa.mga kasong paglabag sa RA 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act at RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Ayon kay Quezon Police Provincial Director PCOL Romulo A. Albacea, bahagi ang operasyon ng pinaigting na kampanya ng kapulisan laban sa ilegal na armas at iligal na droga upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaligtasan ng kumonidad sa buong lalawigan.

Dahil dito binigyan ng parangal ng Quezon Police Provincial Office ang mga pulis na miyembro ng Guinayangan PNP bilang pagkilala sa kanilang propesyonalismo at matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng search warrant operation.
