BATANGAS — Arestado ang isang dating miyembro ng Philippine National Police matapos na mahulihan sa pagdadala ng isang baril na kulang ang kaukulang dokumento linggo ng gabi sa may JPCG Resort, Brgy. Bagong Silang sa bayan ng Calatagan.

Kinilala ang dating pulis na si alyas Jonathan,48 anyos, residente ng Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Base sa nakarating na report sa tanggapan ni Batangas Acting Provincial Director PCOL Oliver B Ebora, isinagawa ang pag aresto sa dating pulis habang nagpapatupad at nagsisilbi ng Warrant of Arrest ang mga operatiba ng Calatagan Municipal Police Station, laban sa isang suspek na si alyas Jun, para naman sa kasong Murder, 2 counts of Frustrated Murder at Attempted Murder sa nasabing lugar ng madiskubre ng mga awtoridad ang isang Glock 30 caliber 45 pistol na kargado ng magazine at bala sa loob ng isang tent.

inamin ni alyas Jonathan na kanya ang nasabing baril at nagpresinta at ipinakita ang dokumento ng License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) subalit bigo at wala namang maipakita ng dokumento ng Permit To Carry of firearm Outside of Residence na nagsasaad na puwede siyang magbitbit ng baril sa labas ng kanyang bahay kung kaya kaagad itong inaresto ng mga dati niyang kabaro.

Kasalukuyang nasa kostudiya ng Batangas PNP at nakakulong ang inarestong suspek at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 31 ng Republic Act 10591 o Comprehensive in Firearms Ammunition Law at inaalam na din ng pulisya ang kaugnayan nito sa isa pang suspek na subject ng warrant of arrest.
