Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal –Arestado ang 19 na suspek sa isang araw na anti-illegal gambling operation ng Laguna PNP sa pamumuno ni Police Colonel RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO.
Ang isang araw na operasyon ng Laguna PPO laban sa ilegal na sugal ay isinagawa mula 6:00AM ng February 21, 2023, hanggang 6:00AM ng February 22, 2023 sa buong lalawigan ng Laguna. Sa loob lamang ng isang araw, nagsagawa ang Laguna PNP ng labing-limang (15) Anti-illegal Gambling Operation at nag resulta sa pagkakaaresto ng labing-siyam (19) na personalidad kumpiskado naman sa mga arestadong suspek ang bet money na halagang Php 13,755.00.
Sa isinagawang anti-illegal gambling operation nakapag tala ng limang (5) operasyon ang Biñan CPS at naaresto ang limang (5) suspek, dalawang (2) operasyon sa Bay MPS arestado naman ang dalawang (2) suspek, dalawang (2) operasyon din ang naitala ng Sta. Rosa CPS na nakapagaresto ng dalawang (2) suspek habang dalawang (2) operasyon din ang isinagawa ng Rizal MPS at arestado ang tatlong (3) suspek sa ilegal na pagsusugal. Samantala nakapagsagawa naman ng tig-iisang operasyon ang Provincial Intelligence Unit LPPO (PIU), Famy MPS, Calamba CPS at Kalayaan MPS na nagresulta sa pagkahuli ng pitong (7) suspek.
Ang mga naarestong suspek ay kasalukuyan nasa kustodiya ng kani-kanilang operating unit nahaharap sila sa kasong kriminal na paglabag sa PD 1602.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL SILVIO “Sa mga kababayan po natin na patuloy paring tinatangkilik ang mga ilegal na sugal kung maari po iwasan na natin ito dahil hindi po ito nakakatulong sa ating pamilya bagkos ay nakakasama pa. ” #gtgmayani
