Nalambat ng pulisya ang 52-anyos na most wanted person (MWP) dahil sa 2 bilang ng kasong panggagahasa sa isinagawang pagsa¬lakay sa pinagtataguan nito sa Balayan, Batangas noong Marso 8, 2023 sa ganap na 2:31 ng hapon. Kinilala ng pulisya ang suspek na si Apolinario Pilit y Peñano, walang asawa, construction worker at residente ng Calatagan, Batangas.
Sa ulat ni BPPO Provincial Director Police Colonel PEDRO D SOLIBA sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni Police Regional Office CALABARZON Regional Director Police Brigadier General JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR., ikinasa ang operasyon laban sa suspek ng mga operatiba ng Balayan MPS, PIT Batangas RIU 4A, 403rd AMC, RMFB 4A, FSSOL 3012A1SS, 300SMG, PAF, PIU Batangas at 4th MP 2nd BPMFC matapos makakuha ng impormasyon hingil sa kinaroroonan nito.
Bitbit ang warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region Branch 10, Balayan, Batangas sa kasong (2) counts ng Rape (RPC ART. 266-A) at (2) counts ng Acts of Lasciviousness (RPC ART. 366) inilabas noong Pebrero 24, 2021 na walang piyansang inirekomenda para sa (2) counts ng rape at rekomendasyon ng piyansa na nagkakahalaga ng (Php 150,000.00) bawat isa para sa kasong 2 counts ng Acts of Lasciviousness.
Ang suspek ay sinasabing isa sa mga nakatala bilang MWP sa regional level ng pulisya.
