Dinaluhan ng Laguna Police Provincial Office sa pangunguna ni Officer-In-Charge, PCOL HAROLD P DEPOSITAR ang paanyaya ng 1st Infantry (Always First) Battalion, 2ID, Philippine Army sa isang Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) noong Hulyo 4, 2023 sa bayan ng Kalayaan.
Kabilang sa gawaing ito ay ang Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) at Re-Declaration of Persona-Non-Grata ng Local Government Units (LGUs) ng bayan ng Kalayaan.
Layunin ng gawain na ito na mapaigting ang kapayaan at seguridad sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng PNP at AFP na siyang humahawak at sumusubaybay sa sitwasyong ng seguridad at kapayapaan.
Ang nasabing MOU ay ang pangunahing dokumento na nilagdaan ng PNP at AFP na nagpapakita ng kagustuhan ng mga Local Chief Executives (LCEs) na muling pasiglahin ang mandato tungo sa mapayapa at maunlad na munisipalidad.
Ang nasabing aktibidad ay dinaluhan nina Mr. John M. Cerezo, Provincial director, DILG Laguna, BGEN CERILO C BALAORO, Commander 202nd Brigade 2ID, Philippine Army, Hon. Sandy P. Laganapan, Municipal Mayor, Kalayaan, Laguna at Hon. Ramil L. Hernandez, Provincial Governor, Laguna.
Ayon kay ni PCOL DEPOSITAR, siya ay nagagalak sa naturang aktibidad dahil sa katuwang ng kapulisan ng Laguna ang Philippine Army at LGUs. Aniya pa nito, ang pagdalo sa ganoong gawain ay isang patunay na ang Laguna pulis ay nagnanais ng tahimik, ligtas at maunlad na pamayanan na angkop sa agenda nina PBGEN CARLITO M GACES, Regional Director, PRO CALABARZON at Chief, PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR. #gtgacana
