Camp BGen Paciano Rizal – Matagumpay na nasabat ng Laguna PNP ang humigit kumulang na halagang PhP779,700.00 ng hinihinalang shabu sa isinagawang drug buy-bust operation sa Calamba City, Laguna noong Sabado, ika-2 ng Marso, 2024.
Kinilala ni Laguna Police Provincial Director PCOL GAUVIN MEL UNOS ang mga suspek sa mga alyas na Khara at Nora, parehong mga babaeng nasa tamang edad, at naninirahan sa Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Base sa ulat ni Calamba City Component City Police Station (CCPS) Chief Plt. Col. Milany E Martirez, naaresto ang mga suspek sa isinagawang drug buy-bust operation ng kanilang kapulisan bandang 11:18 ng gabi sa Bus stop sa Barangay Paciano, Calamba City, Laguna. Naaaktuhang nagbebenta si suspek Khara ng isang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu kapalit ang tatlong (3) piraso ng isang libong piso (PhP1000.00) na marked money sa isang kapulisan ng Calamba CCPS na nagpanggap na poseur-buyer. Matapos matanggap ito, iniabot ni suspek Khara kay suspek Nora. Sa preventive search, nakuha mula kay suspek Khara ang dalawa (2) pang sachets at isang (1) knot-tied sachet na may laman ding hinihinalang shabu na nakatago sa sling bag. Samantala, narekober ang tatlong libong (PhP3000.00) piso na buy-bust money at nakumpiska ang dalawang (2) piraso ng limandaang piso (PhP500.00) kay suspek Nora.
Ang mga suspek ay itinuturing na high-value individuals at natukoy na nagbebenta ng iligal na droga sa Barangay Paciano, Calamba City at iba pang bahagi ng Laguna.
Ang 113 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu at iba pang nakumpiskang ebidensiya ay dinala sa Regional Forensic Unit (RFU) sa Calamba City habang ang kaukulang dokumento para sa pagsasampa ng mga kaso para sa paglabag sa Sections 5, 11, at 26, ng RA 9165 ay inihahanda para sa pagsasampa sa City Prosecutor’s Office.
Pahayag ni Laguna Police Provincial Director PCOL GAUVIN MEL UNOS: “Ang pagkakahuli sa mga suspek at pagkumpiska sa malaking halaga ng ilegal na droga ay patunay sa patuloy na determinasyon ng ating kapulisan na sugpuin ang problema sa droga sa ating komunidad. Hinihikayat natin ang kooperasyon ng publiko sa pagsisiyasat at pagpapahuli sa mga taong sangkot sa ilegal na gawain upang makamit natin ang isang ligtas at masaganang pamayanan para sa lahat.” . #gtgtalampas
