QUEZON-TULUYAN ng nakalaya dakong alas 8:00 Lunes ng gabi,March 11 ang film director na si Jade Castro at tatlong kasama nito na kinasuhan ng Arson matapos mapirmahan dakong alas 4:00 ng hapon ang mga dokumentong naguutos na palayain mula sa Catanauan PNP Jail Facility ang grupo ni Castro.
Pinagbigyan ni Catanauan RTC Judge Julius Francis Galvez ang Motion to Quash laban kina Castro,ibinasura ng korte ang demanda dahil mali ang ginawang pagkakaaresto,Destructive Arson ang isinampang kaso ng Catanauan PNP.
“The information was quashed on the ground of lack of jurisdiction of the court on the persons accused due to the invalidity of their arrest.Technically,case is dismissed but without prejudice as to refiling”ito ang sinabi ng abogado nina Castro.
Pinanigan ng korte ang pagkwestiyon sa pagka-aresto sa mga suspects,Una ng iginiit ng pulisya at ng piskalya na”Hot Pursuit” ang nangyaring pag-aresto kay Castro,dalawang civil engr.at isang sales manager subalit ayon sa korte wala namang nasabi ang mga testigo kung saan pumunta ang grupo ni Castro right after the commission of the crime.
Hindi rin nakapagbigay ng impormasyon ang mga testigo tungkol sa sasakyang ginamit ng grupo ng film director na ginamit sa pagtakas sa lugar ng scene of the crime.
Sinabi ng husgado”the time they were arrested,the suspects were not acting in suspicious manner,They were acting as innocent individuals at that time”.
Matatandaang una ng sinampahan ng kasong destructive arson sina Castro matapos mapagbintangang nanunog ng isang modern jeepney sa bayan ng Catanauan Quezon noong nakaraang Enero 28,2024 inimbitahan muna ng hepe ng pulisya ang grupo ni Castro mula sa Mi Casa Resort nakabase sa bayan ng Mulanay Quezon noong Enero 31,2024 bago tuluyang inaresto at ikinulong ang mga ito. //BONG RIVERA
