Three (3) most wanted individuals were apprehended in separate manhunt operations orchestrated by the Laguna PNP, April 3, 2024.

Police Colonel GAUVIN MEL Y UNOS, Acting Provincial Director of Laguna PPO, identified the apprehended individuals as aliases Clarence, Ferdinand, and Roberto.

According to the report by PCPT SERGIO C. AMABA JR, Chief of Cavinti Municipal Police Station, their warrant personnel conducted a manhunt operation yesterday, April 3, 2024, at around 1:30 PM in Brgy. Maytalang Uno, Lumban, Laguna. This operation led to the arrest of alias Clarence on charges of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002, based on a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 28, Sta Cruz, Laguna, with no recommended bail. The accused was listed as one of the most wanted persons in CALABARZON.

Meanwhile, a joint manhunt operation led by PLTCOL DWIGHT F FONTE of Sta Rosa Component City Police Station, along with Laguna PHPT, resulted in the arrest of alias Ferdinand at around 4:45 PM in Parañaque City. He was apprehended on charges of RA 10883, the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, based on a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 102, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, with no recommended bail. The accused was ranked as the No. 8 most wanted person in the province of Laguna.

In another manhunt operation conducted by Biñan Component City Police Station under the leadership of PLTCOL JONATHAN ROBERT C RONGAVILLA, alias Roberto was apprehended at around 2:30 PM in Brgy. Santo Tomas, Biñan City, Laguna. He was arrested on charges of Qualified Theft based on a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 155, Biñan City, Laguna, with no recommended bail. The accused was ranked as the No. 10 most wanted person in the province of Laguna.

The arrested individuals are currently in the custody of their respective operating units while the courts that issued the warrants are being informed of their apprehension.

PCOL UNOS stated, “We are intensifying our efforts province-wide to conduct such police operations to apprehend individuals evading the law to bring justice to their victims.”
