Sa ulat ni PLTCOL JOHN ERIC B ANTONIO, hepe ng Cabuyao Component City Police Station nagkasa ang kanilang mga operatiba ng drugs buy-bust operation Abril 25, 2024 dakong 9:22 ng umaga sa Brgy. Sala, Cabuyao City, Laguna na nag resulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang shabu sa nagpanggap na police poseur buyer kapalit ang marked money.
Nakumpiska sa mga suspek ang mga piraso ng plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang timbang na 58 gramo na nagkakahalaga ng humigit kumulang PhP394,000.00, isang (1) pirasong weighing scale, isang (1) unit Samsung cellphone color brown, isang (1) pirasong sling bag, isang (1) pirasong sun glasses color red, isang (1) pirasong five-hundred-peso bill PhP500.00 at isang (1) unit ng Huawei cellular phone color blue.
kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Cabuyao CCPS ang mga arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002”.
Sa pahayag ni PCOL UNOS “Magsilbing babala sana ito sa mga kababayan natin na patuloy sa pagtangkilik sa iligal na droga, katuwang ng kapulisan ang komunidad sa laban na ito kaya mas nagiging matagumpay ang kampanya laban sa iligal na droga.” #gtgtalampas
