Kinilala ni Police Colonel GAUVIN MEL Y UNOS, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO ang mga suspek na sila alyas Jerico at alyas Ronald pawang mga residente ng San Pablo City, Laguna.
Sa ulat ni PMAJ ROBIN L MARTIN, hepe ng Provincial Special Operations Unit ng Laguna PPO, nagkasa ang kanilang mga operatiba kasama ang San Pablo CCPS ng joint drug buy-bust operation dakong 2:45 ng hapon noong Hunyo 21,2024 sa Brgy. San Joaquin, San Pablo City, Laguna, na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang iligal na droga sa pulis na nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer kapalit ang marked money.
Nakumpiska sa mga suspek ang isang (1) piraso ng heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu, dalawang (2) piraso ng knot-tied plastic bag na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang timbang na aabot sa 90 grams na may tinatayang halaga na aabot sa Php 621,000.00, isang (1) unit ng android cell phone (Redmi), isang (1) piraso ng pencil case, isang (1) piraso ng one thousand Peso bill (P1000.00) na ginamit bilang buy-bust money, isang (1) piraso ng one thousand Peso bill bilang recovered money at isang (1) unit ng Honda civic 1999 colored green.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Pablo Component City Police Station ang mga arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.”
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL UNOS “Binabati ko ang Laguna PSOU at San Pablo CCPS sa kanilang accomplishment na ito. Ang pagkakadakip sa mga suspek na ito at pagkaka-kumpiska ng ganito karaming iligal na droga ay bunga din ng matibay na samahan ng kapulisan at komunidad.” #gtgtalampas
