Operatives of PDEA Quezon Provincial Office and Lucena City Police Station discovered and dismantled a suspected drug den during a joint buy-bust operation at Purok Matahimik Isla, Barangay Cotta, Lucena City, Quezon which resulted to the arrest of four drug personalities.
On June 23, 2024 at about 12:15 in the morning operatives arrested Vanessa Ramos y Lazarte alias Vanessa, 31, female, married, jobless, alleged drug den maintainer; Francisco Robles y Rodelas, 50, male, married, laborer; Jayson Abulencia y Cabana, 29, male, single, construction worker and Joderon Reyes y Reas, 27, male, single, jobless. All were residents of Barangay Cotta, same city.
Confiscated during the operation were more or less 10 grams of suspected shabu worth Php68,000.00, buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
