QUEZON — SUGATAN ang dalawang pulis at dalawang pulis naman ang masuwerteng hindi nasaktan makaraang
mawalan ng kontrol sa manibela and driver at bumangga sa isang puno ang sinasakyan nilang kulay maroon na Toyota Revo (SUV) na may plakang TWG 360 bandang 6:50 ng gabi sa matarik at kurbadang daan saay bahgi ng Barangay San Roque bayan ng Catanauan.
Kinilala ang mga biktima na sina Police Staff Sgt. John Herbert Corona, 41 anyos, na siyang nagmamaneho ng nasabing sasakyan at ang mga pasahero na sina Staff Sgt. Mira Loren, 42 anyos, Staff Sgt. Neil Ian Nieves, 44 at si Police Corporal Dustin Delo, 29, pawang mga naka assigned sa Intelligence at miyembro ng Mulanay Municipal Police Station.
Base sa report ng Catanauan Municipal Police Station patungo ng Buenavista-Catanauan Road ang sinasakyan ng apat na pulis ng mangyari ang aksidente at nagtamo ng malubhang pinsala sa katawan si Staff Sgt. Loren,habang nagkaroon naman ng minor injury si Delo at masuwerte naman na hindi gaanong nasaktan sina Nieves at Corona.
Agad na dinala sa Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital si SSgt. Loren dahil sa mga tinamong sugat sa iba’t ibang parte ng katawan bago inilipat sa MMG Hospital sa Lucena City na kasalukuyang nasa ICU.
Ayon naman kay Mulanay PNP OIC Chief of Police PMajor Joseph Ian C. Java, magsisilbi sana ng warrant of arrest ang kanyang mga tauhan sa isang suspek na may kasong attempted murder na nagtatago sa bayan ng Catanauan ng mangyari ang aksidente.
