P10.8M Halaga ng Marijuana Nakuha sa Tulak, Timbog sa Buy-Bust Operation sa Caloocan

Isang matagumpay na anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation ang naisagawa ng mga operatiba ng SDEU Caloocan sa tulong ng mga PNP personnel mula sa SS14 at SS15 ng Caloocan City Police Station. Ang operasyon ay isinagawa noong Martes ng umaga, Marso 11, 2025, bandang 7:15 AM, at naiulat sa tanggapan bandang 8:00 AM sa parehong petsa. Ang insidente ay naganap sa 2166 San Lorenzo St., Malaria, Barangay 185, Caloocan City.

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Juawana Christine Heart Leonoralyn Buado y Sta. Roman, alyas “Ramram,” 25 taong gulang at isang encoder; Raul Morano y Pile, 49 taong gulang at walang trabaho; Christopher Masapol y Lagunay, 26 taong gulang; at Jahziel Penuel Almario y Villarreal, 23 taong gulang at isang pintor.

Ayon sa ulat, isang PNP operative ang nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer, na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng apat na itinuturing na high-value individuals. Sa isinagawang operasyon, narekober mula sa mga suspek ang kabuuang 90.5 kilo ng hinihinalang marijuana na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng humigit-kumulang ₱10,860,000.00. Kabilang dito ang 72 bricks ng tuyong dahon na may fruiting tops na hinihinalang marijuana na may timbang na 72 kilo, 41 elongated transparent plastic packs na naglalaman ng tuyong dahon na may fruiting tops na may timbang na 15 kilo, at 12 vacuum-sealed transparent plastic sachets na naglalaman ng tuyong dahon na may fruiting tops na may timbang na 3.5 kilo.

Bukod dito, nakumpiska rin ang isang tunay na ₱500 bill, 15 piraso ng pekeng pera o boodle money na ginamit sa buy-bust operation, tatlong black boxes, dalawang malalaking transparent plastic containers, at isang puting timbangan.

Ang mga suspek ay binasahan ng kanilang mga karapatan at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Section 26, at Section 11 ng Article II ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ayon sa mga suspek, hindi sila gumagamit ng droga ngunit umamin na sila ay nagbebenta lamang.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya na ng SDEU Caloocan para sa karagdagang proseso.
