Calamba Completes Brgy. Hornalan Covered Court and Road Projects in Just Three Months

The City Government of Calamba has officially inaugurated the newly completed covered court and road asphalting projects in Barangay Hornalan, marking another milestone in the city’s ongoing infrastructure development efforts under the leadership of Mayor Roseller ‘Ross’ H. Rizal.

The projects, which began with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 5, 2026, were completed in just three months (May 14, 2026) and are now fully operational for the benefit of residents in the community.

Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal highlighted the swift completion of the projects during the blessing and inauguration ceremony.

“Noong Pebrero 5, 2026, sama-sama nating isinagawa ang Groundbreaking Ceremony para sa Covered Court at Road Asphalting sa Brgy. Hornalan. At ngayon, makalipas lamang ang tatlong buwan, matagumpay na nating isinagawa ang Blessing and Inauguration ng mga proyektong ito para sa ating mga kababayan.”

The mayor emphasized that the rapid completion of the infrastructure reflects the city government’s commitment to responsive and efficient public service.

“Patunay ito na kapag may malinaw na layunin at tunay na malasakit sa serbisyo, mabilis nating naipapagawa at naipaparating ang mga proyektong kailangan ng mamamayan.”

He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering on promises made to Calambeños.

“Kapag ating ipinangako, agad natin itong tinutupad.”

The newly completed covered court is expected to serve as a venue for community activities, sports events, and emergency gatherings, while the asphalted roads are seen to improve accessibility and transportation for residents of Barangay Hornalan.
