Calamba Named Among Philippines’ Top 5 Most Business-Friendly Component Cities for Third Straight Year

The City of Calamba has once again been recognized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) as one of the Top 5 Most Business-Friendly Cities in the Philippines under the Component City Category, following the organization’s final judging and deliberation.

The recognition highlights Calamba’s continuing efforts to promote a business environment that supports investors, entrepreneurs, and economic opportunities through programs, initiatives, and improved government services.

Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal said Calamba presented before the panel of judges the city government’s ongoing efforts to make doing business in the city more accessible and efficient.

“Sa harap ng panel of judges, ating inilahad ang mga programa, inisyatiba, at serbisyong patuloy nating isinusulong upang gawing mas madali, mabilis, at maayos ang pagnenegosyo sa ating lungsod.”

Rizal also noted that Calamba has maintained its place among the country’s Top 5 Most Business-Friendly Component Cities for three consecutive years, citing the recognition as a reflection of the city’s sustained efforts to create opportunities for business and development.

“At higit sa lahat, tatlong taon nang sunod-sunod na kabilang ang Calamba sa Top 5. Patunay ito ng tuloy-tuloy nating pagsisikap na lumikha ng isang lungsod na bukas sa negosyo, oportunidad, at pag-unlad.”

The latest PCCI recognition further underscores Calamba’s continuing focus on strengthening its local business climate and improving services for the city’s business community.
