Calamba Named Top Model City Anew by The Manila Times

The City of Calamba has once again been recognized as a Top Model City by The Manila Times, highlighting the city’s continuing efforts to implement programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of its residents.

The latest recognition also saw Calamba secure multiple distinctions across various categories, reflecting its performance in sustainability, retirement living, technology, livelihood, employment, and wealth generation.

Among the awards received by the city were Sustainability Champion, 1st Runner-Up for Retirement Haven, 2nd Runner-Up for Tech Territory, 2nd Runner-Up for Livelihood and Employment Centered, and 3rd Runner-Up for Wealth Center.

The recognitions underscore Calamba’s efforts to pursue development initiatives across different sectors while strengthening programs intended to benefit Calambeños.

Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal welcomed the recognition and emphasized the results of the city government’s continuing programs.

“Calamba, patuloy nating pinatutunayan na ang Calambagong Pamahalaan ay may konkretong resulta—para sa bawat Calambeño.”
