Nagkaroon ng sunog sa vegetable section at wet section ng Pamilihang Bayan ng Santa Rosa sa dakong 4:00 ng umaga ngayon, Nobyembre 15, 2022.
Umabot sa second alarm ang sunog, at nakontrol ng Santa Rosa City Fire Station bandang 4:58 AM sa tulong ng BFP Biñan, BFP Cabuyao, Biñan Fire Volunteers, at Barangay Fire Brigades ng Malitlit, Dita at Labas. Ganap na 5:59 AM. ng ideklara na fire out.
Tinataya na aabot sa humigit kumulang na 60 stalls ang totally burned at 20 stalls ang partially burned. Walang nasaktan sa naganap na sunog.
Kasalukuyang ini-imbistigahan ng BFP Santa Rosa ang sanhi ng sunog.
Ipinag-utos ni Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas na i-secure ang Pamilihang Bayan hanggat hindi pa dinedeklara ng ligtas ang lugar.
Idineklara din ni Mayor Arlene Arcillas na walang pasok sa mga katabing paaralan – ang APEX, Central 3 at SciTech – dahil sa epekto ng usok sa mga mag-aaral.
