Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal- 1,609 personalidad ang arestado sa Anti-Illegal Gambling Operations ng Pulis Laguna mula Agustu 23, 2022 hangang Disyembre 4, 2022, mula ng maupo si PCOL Randy Glenn G Silvio, bilang Acting Provincial Director ng Laguna PPO.
Ang Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation ng Laguna PNP ay pinalakas sa pamamagitan ng intel-driven operasyon na may aktibong suporta ng pamayanan, na humantong sa 877 na operasyon at pagkaka-aresto sa 1,609 personalidad at pagkumpiska ng Php 1,749,714 na taya mula sa iba’t ibang uri ng ilegal na sugal.
Sa Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation sa Illegal Numbers Game-STL Bookies, ang Laguna PNP ay nagsagawa ng 704 na operasyon na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto sa 952 na gambling operator at bettors, matapos silang mahuli sa akto habang nangongolekta ng bet-money para sa STL-Bookies. Nakumpiska ang kabuuang Php 948,079.00 halaga ng bet-money, STL Lastillas at iba pang Illegal STL Bookies paraphernalia.
Ang mga naarestong suspek ay nakakulong sa ilalim ng custodial facility ng kani-kanilang operating units, habang ang kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9287 ang isinampa sa korte laban sa 952 na suspek na naaresto sa Illegal Numbers Game-STL Bookies, at kasong paglabag naman sa PD 1602 ang isinampa sa korte laban sa 657 suspek na naaresto sa iba pang laro ng ilegal na sugal.
Sa pahayag PCOL Silvio “Isa sa priyoridad ng Laguna PNP ang paglaban sa Illegal Gambling. Patuluy pang paiigtingin ng ating kapulisan sa tulong at suporta ng pamayanan ang ating mga Police operations sa Anti-Illegal Gambling sa Lalawigan. Binalaan ko naman ang mga illegal-gamblers na huminto sa ilegal na pagsusugal dahil tiyak na sila ay mananagot sa ilalim ng batas.#gtgtalampas
