Dalawang Lalaki, Arestado sa Caloocan Dahil sa Droga at Pagyosi sa Pampublikong Lugar

Setyembre 14, 2024, Caloocan City — Dalawang lalaki ang naaresto madaling araw ng Sabado sa Barangay 184, Caloocan City matapos silang maaktuhan ng mga awtoridad na nagtataglay ng ipinagbabawal na gamot at lumalabag sa ordinansya ng lungsod tungkol sa paninigarilyo sa pampublikong lugar.

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Ferdinand Buenafe y Soriano, 58 taong gulang, at Arvie Lorenzo y Ilaw, 28 taong gulang. Nahuli sila sa Gov. Eusebio Street dakong 2:50 AM matapos makatanggap ng impormasyon ang mga pulis ng Amparo Police Substation 15 mula sa isang concerned citizen tungkol sa umano’y bentahan ng droga sa lugar.

Ayon sa ulat, habang nagsasagawa ng foot patrol ang mga PNP officers, nilapitan sila ng isang residente na nag-ulat ng kahina-hinalang aktibidad sa lugar. Agad na rumesponde ang mga pulis at nadatnan ang dalawang suspek na nagyoyosi. Nang sitahin at ipaliwanag sa kanila ang nilabag na ordinansa, biglang tumakbo ang mga suspek.

Sa kanilang pagtakas, nahulog mula sa mga suspek ang dalawang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 8 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 54,400. Dahil dito, agad silang inaresto at binasahan ng kanilang karapatan.

Ang mga suspek ay na-turn over na sa Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) para sa karagdagang proseso at kasalukuyang nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa RA 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority) at Section 11 ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
