Operatives of the PDEA Batangas Provincial Office in collaboration with Balayan Municipal Police Station and PNP Maritime Police Station -Batangas successfully dismantled a drug den and arrested four drug suspects during a joint buy-bust operation conducted on April 29, 2026 at around 12:15 in the afternoon in Barangay Gumamela, Balayan, Batangas.

Authorities identified the suspects as alias Delmar, 55; alias Paulo, 30; alias Ireneo, 58; and alias Dennis, 42. All were residents of Balayan, Batangas.

Seized from the suspects were more or less 12 grams of suspected shabu worth Php81,600.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

Charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) Section 6 (Maintenance of a Den, Dive or Resort), Section 7 (Employees and Visitors of a Den, Dive or Resort), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
