QUEZON — Arestado ang dalawang High Value Individual (HVI) ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng PDEU ng Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), Lucena PNP-SPDEU, at PNP Maritime Group sa isinagawang drug buy-bust operation sa may bahagi ng Brgy. Dalahican, Lucena City.
Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina alias Manny 53 anyos at alias Jack 32 anyos kapwa residente ng naturang lunsod na may dalawa ng dati at naunang kaso sa paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Base sa report dakong alas-4:40 ng hapon nang isagawa ng pulisya ang operasyon na may koordinasyon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek at pagkakakumpiska ng iba’t ibang ebidensya.
Narekiber mula sa mga suspek ang tinatayang 300 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may PDEA Standard Drug Price na 2,040,000.00 million pesos at tinatayang street value na 6,120,000.00 million pesos.
Bukod dito, narekober din ang humigit-kumulang 11 kilo ng marijuana na may PDEA Standard Drug Price na 1,320,000.00 million pesos at may street value na 3,960,000.00 million pesos.
Nakuha rin sa operasyon ang isang digital weighing scale, 500 pesos na buy-bust money, isang kalibre .38 na baril na may anim na bala, at isang pink sling bag.
Isinagawa ang operasyon gamit ang Alternative Recording Device (ARD) upang masiguro ang transparency at integridad ng operasyon ng kapulisan.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng Lucena PNP at nakakulong sa costudial facility at sinampahan na ng mga kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at Section 11 ng RA 9165 at RA 10591 Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Ayon kay Quezon Provincial Director PCOL Romulo A Albacea,Mas higit na paiigtingin pa ng kapulisan pulis operasyon upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat mamamayan,Ang pagkakaaresto sa mga HVI na ito ay patunay na hindi titigil ang Quezon PPO sa pagsugpo sa ilegal na droga at kriminalidad.
Patuloy namang hinihikayat ni Albacea ang publiko na makipagtulungan sa mga awtoridad sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng tamang impormasyon upang tuluyang mapuksa ang ilegal na droga sa buong lalawigan ng Quezon.
