Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – Arestado ang 6 na Suspek sa Hazing na ikinamatay ni Jhon Matthew Salilig “MAT”, matapos ituro ng Witness na sangkot sa pagkamatay ng biktima.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO, ang anim (6) na suspek na sina alyas Slaughter residente ng Ermita Manila, alyas Nike residente ng Las Piñas, alyas Allie residente ng Pandacan Manila, alyas Loki residente ng Muntinlupa City, alyas Lambert at alyas Macoy pawang mga residente ng Biñan City, Laguna.
Ayon sa ulat ni PLTCOL VIRGILIO M JOPIA, Hepe ng Biñan City Police Station, bandang 11:00 ng gabi, Marso 1, 2023, kusang-loob na humarap sa Biñan CPS ang mga suspek kaugnay sa patuloy na imbestigasyon ng umano’y Hazing na nagresulta sa pagkamatay ni alyas “Mat” matapos sumali sa welcoming rites sa isang Fraternity sa Adamson Chapter.
Samantala, habang iniimbestigahan ang mga suspek ay lumitaw ang isang saksi at positibong kinilala ang mga suspek na sangkot sa komisyon ng Hazing.
Ang mga suspek ay sasampahan ng kasong RA 8049 Anti-Hazing Law (2 counts) as amended by RA 11053 para sa inquest proceedings bago dalhin sa DOJ Manila, Padre Faura Manila.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL SILVIO, patuloy pang tutukan ng PNP Laguna ang kasong ito, upang panagutin ang lahat ng suspek na sangkot sa pagkamatay ng biktima. Nagpapasalamat naman ako sa ating komunidad sa pagbibigay ng mga impormasyon para sa agarang ikalulutas ng insidenteng ito. #gtgmayani
