Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – Arestado ang 14 na suspek kahapon Abril 26, 2023 sa Anti-Illegal Gambling Operations ng Laguna PNP, sa pamumuno ni Police Colonel RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO.
Ang kampanya ng Laguna PNP laban sa ilegal na pagsusugal ay maigting na iniimplementa ng kapulisan ng Laguna, sa tulong at suporta ng pamayanan lalong-lalo na ng Barangay Intelligence Network (BIN’s) sa ibat-ibang barangay sa lalawigan ng Laguna.
Sa Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation ng Laguna PNP, nakapagtala naman ng tatlong (3) operasyon na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng labing-apat (14) na personalidad na sangkot sa other form of illegal gambling at nakumpiska naman sa mga suspek ang bet money na may halagang aabot sa Php 14,050.00.
Ang mga naarestong suspek ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng kani-kanilang operating units at nahaharap sila sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act (RA) 9287 / Presidential Decree (PD) 1602.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL SILVIO “Bilang tugon sa panawagan ng bagong talagang Regional Director ng PRO CALABARZON na si PBGEN CARLITO M GACES at alinsunod sa direktiba ni PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, Chief PNP, ang Laguna PNP po ay ipagpapatuloy ang walang humpay sa kampanya laban sa kriminalidad sa pamamagitan ng masinsinan at taos-pusong presensya ng inyong kapulisan upang ang lahat ng masasamang gawain ay mapigilan at di maisakatuparan. Kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa ating mga kababayan na patuloy na nagbibigay ng suporta upang matagumpay na maisagawa ang mga operasyon laban sa ilegal na sugal dito sa Laguna. Ang tagumpay ng Laguna PNP sa pagsugpo sa illegal gambling ay tagumpay din ng mga kababayan natin, ito ay patunay lamang ng maayos na samahan ng komunidad at kapulisan sa buong Lalawigan.” #gtgmayani
