On May 4, 2023 at 10:20 in the evening, a joint buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Batangas City Police Station, Seaport Interdiction Unit-Batangas and PDEA Batangas Provincial Office led to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of the alleged drug den owner identified as Danilo Hilario y Calderon alias Danny, 74 at Barangay Sta Clara, Batangas City, Batangas.
The operatives arrested three other drug suspects identified as Joel Carigo y Malinao, 43; Maria Amara Alibagon y Aquidado, 37; and Alejo Ribas Jr. Y Gabin, 38 and recovered from their possession were more or less 10 grams of suspected shabu worth Php69,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.
Suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
