Nakumpiska ang tinatayang higit 400 libong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa kahabaan ng B15 NTA Montalban Heigths Brgy. San Jose Rodriguez, Rizal sa ganap na 9:00 ng gabi May 24 taong kasalukuyan.
Ayon sa ulat, nagkasa ng buy-bust operation ang Rodriguez MDET na nag-ugat sa impormasyon ng isang confidential informant na may koordinasyon sa PDEA4A, ang hepe nito na si PLTCOL ROSELL D ENCARNACION ay matagumpay na naaresto sina:
Sonny Ergino y Brillante @SONNY, 37- taong gulang, nakatira sa Rodriguez, Rizal; at si Darling Gerlie Sarmiento y Prande @ALENG, 34-taong gulang na nakatira din sa Rodriguez, Rizal.
Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang siyam (9) na pakete na hinihinalang “SHABU” na may bigat na humigit kumulang 64 gramo na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit 400 libong piso (PHP 462,400.00), dalawang (2) pouch, 500 pesos buy-bust money at 1,100 pesos confiscated money. Ito ay minarkahan, inimbentaryo at kinuhanan ng litrato sa mismong lugar ng operasyon at presensya ng mga suspek na agad rin namang ipinaalam ang lahat ng kanilang karapatan. Dinala ang mga ebidensya sa Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit para sa tamang disposisyon at dokumentasyon.
Samantala, kasalukuyang nakapiit ang mga suspek sa Rodriguez Custodial Facility na nahaharap sa reklamong paglabag sa R.A 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Binigyan diin ni PCOL BACCAY na ang kapulisan ng Rizal ay patuloy na lalabanan at hindi titigil sa pagsugpo ng mga ilegal na droga. Sinisiguro ng Rizal PNP na ang mamamayan at probinsya ng Rizal ay ligtas mula sa mga ilegal na aktibidad, illegal drugs at kriminalidad.
