Napanatili pa rin ng Bagyong Betty (MAWAR) ang lakas nito habang mabagal na kumikilos papalapit sa silangang bahagi ng #ExtremeNorthernLuzon. Huling namataan ito sa layong 445km East of Calayan, #Cagayan. Taglay parin ng Bagyong Betty ang lakas ng hangin nito na umaabot sa 155km/h at may pagbugso ng hangin na umaabot naman sa 190km/h. Kumikilos ito sa direksyong pa-Hilaga, Hilagang Kanluran o North, Northwestward movement sa Bilis na 10km/h.
Dahil sa bagyong Betty, asahan na ang mas masungit na lagay ng panahon simula ngayong gabi hanggang sa susunod na 2 araw sa #Batanes at #Cagayan. Inaasahan din na makakaranas ng malalakas na pag-ulan at pagbugso ng hangin ang halos buong #NorthernLuzon dahil sa outer rainbands at sa malawak na sakop ng bagyo.
Sa ngayon ay nakataas pa rin ang TROPICAL CYCLONE WIND SIGNAL #2 sa #ExtremeNorthernLuzon habang TCWS#1 naman ang nakataas sa malaking bahagi ng #NorthernLuzon at sa ilang bahagi ng #BicolRegion dahil sa paglawak at paglapad ng sirkulasyon nito.
