Sa pinagsama-samang pwersa ng PDEU-QPPO, PIU-QPPO, PDEA 4A Quezon at Lucena CPS Intel/SDEU, nasabat ang mahigit 2.8 milyon halaga ng shabu sa isang babae, madaling araw ng Hulyo 16, 2023.
Ayon kay PCOL Ledon D Monte, Provincial Director ng Quezon PPO, ang suspek ay kinilalang si JULIETA MORENO MARUHOM alays JULIET, 63 y/o, residente of Netherland Street University Site Village Brgy Ibabang Dupay Lucena City, Quezon at tinaguriang High Value Individual.
Higit-kumulang 139 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang DDB Value na Php 945, 200.00 at street value na Php 2,835,600. 00 ang nakumpiska mula sa suspek ng maganap ang operasyon sa Netherland St. University Site Village Brgy Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City, Quezon.
Kabilang sa mga ibidensyang nakuha sa suspek ang isang libong boodle money kasama ang siyam na libong iba pa, sampung (10) piraso ng heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu, isang (1) brown sling bag, isang (1) pc digital weighing scale, one thousand six hundred (Php 1,600) pesos na personal na pera ng suspek at isang (1) keypad na cellphone.
Ang naturang suspek ngayong ay humaharap sa kasong Violation of Section 5 and 11 ng RA 9165 at kasalukuyang nasa pangangalaga ng Lucena City Police Station.
“Hindi lamang pagpapanatiliti ng kapayapaan, kaayusan at pagsasawata ng kriminalidad ang prayoridad ng Quezon Pulis, puspusan din ang ginagawa naming kampanya sa pagsugpo ng ilegal na droga sa buong lalawigan. Ang pagkakaaresto ng suspek na ito ay malaking tulong sa pagbaba ng supply ng iligal na droga sa kanyang lugar at sa buong lalawigan.”
